About AVCI (.avci)
HEIF (High Efficiency Image File Format) is an ISO Base Media File Format container for stills and image sequences. HEIC commonly denotes HEVC (H.265)-coded image items (typical on many phones). AVCI denotes AV1-coded still items in the same broad container family. HIF appears as another suffix tied to HEIF deployments.
