Meditation Sounds for Mindfulness
Ocean with slow wind for longer sessions.
Mix Layers
How to use
- Press Play. Ocean loops under slow interval-mode wind gusts.
- For longer sessions, set a 30m or 60m timer; the gradual fade-out lets your session end without an abrupt cutoff.
- If wind feels too sparse, open the Wind layer and lower its Interval value (e.g. 6s instead of 8s).
FAQ
Why ocean + wind specifically?
Ocean waves give a slow amplitude rhythm — roughly the tempo of calm breathing. Wind gusts on an interval add a second rhythm that doesn't compete, so the mix feels layered but never busy.
Can I add singing bowls or chimes?
Not in this preset. You can open the full mixer and add random-mode layers for sparse events, but we've kept this page free of tonal content so it works alongside guided meditation audio.
Online sound generators on ZonoTools
In today's digital world, the ability to create and control sound in the browser is useful for focus, sleep, relaxation, and quick audio experiments. A powerful online sound generator lets you build layered ambience—noise colors, nature loops, and occasional one-shots—without installing desktop software.
Why use an online sound generator?
- No installation required
- Instant playback after you press Play (browser autoplay rules apply)
- Works across devices with a modern browser
- Real-time control over volume, layers, and behaviors
- Free access on ZonoTools
What you can shape with this engine
- Noise generation — white, pink, and brown noise beds for masking
- Nature and ambience — rain, ocean, forest, fire, thunder, wind, and more
- Layered playback — loop steady beds, fire events on an interval, or rare sounds on random delays for realism
- Presets and sharing — Quick Presets, sleep timer with fade-out, and Share links that restore a mix
Common use cases
- Focus and relaxation — steady masking that hides unpredictable noise
- Sleep — a stable audio floor so small sounds are less likely to wake you
- Learning and experimentation — hear how different layers and levels behave over time

How this preset supports mindfulness
Two slow rhythms, one layered over the other:
- Ocean (loop) — slow amplitude modulation in the 5–10 second range,
roughly matching calm breath cycles. - Wind (interval, ~8s) — sparse gusts that add variety without
establishing a countable beat.
Because neither layer is tonal (no pitch you can hum), they coexist with
guided meditation tracks or silent practice without fighting the primary
signal.
Tuning tips
- For sessions with a teacher, drop ocean to ~45% so their voice stays
clearly in front. - For silent practice, raise master slightly — the wind gusts give you
something to anchor to when the mind wanders.
